Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat is the Tram schedule/frequency?
The Trams operate on an 8 - 12 minute frequency during the day. During the winter months it may be a few minutes longer due to fewer trams on the tracks. In the summer months,when the trams operate until 9pm, you can expect a Tram approximately every 25 minutes after 6pm.
Can we purchase tickets onboard?
Yes, just board at any one of the 11 Tram Stops and purchase your ticket from our friendly Tram Driver or Conductor.
Do you have wheelchair access?
Yes, please board the Tram at the Tram Station Stop in Cathedral Junction. Speak to our staff at the Tram Station shop and they will show you to the wheelchair lift.
Can I bring a pram or buggy onboard the trams?
Yes, just ask our friendly Tram Driver or Conductor for assistance. Prams and buggies can be carried on hooks at the front of the trams or inside, if there is room available.
How many people does each tram hold?
Each tram has a different configuration and can hold varying numbers of people, standing and sitting. Our smallest tram can seat up to 30 people while the largest can seat up to 50, with an extra 30 people on the trailer at the back. For layout information please contact us.
What date is my ticket for?
Your Tram ticket is valid for two consecutive days. When booking online, you do specify the date you intend to visit, but once booked, you can use the booking confirmation as your ticket and choose to visit us any day you like.
